Clem Schrader and Bobby Turner were men with a passion for the outdoors, animals and the well-being of today’s youth. They were farmers, ranchers and outfitters who took the time to volunteer on several local committees always looking to find fair solutions in today’s ever changing world. Their years of involvement on the Panther River Advisory Committee and Panther River Environmental Enhancement Legacy Committee strongly contributed to creating an oil and gas development in the beautiful eastern slopes of Alberta which followed the vision of “Working together, a diverse group developed the Panther wells using respectful communication and thoughtful planning, combined with a strong determination to ensure that this unique part of the world will be available for future generations to experience and enjoy”. Their contributions have motivated Shell Canada to create the Schrader-Turner Memorial Scholarship – $1,000.00
